Symposium: Novel approaches to managing forest insect pests
call closes when slots are filled
The theme of “Entomology for our Planet” includes intertwined global challenges such as increasing introduction of invasive species and climate change. These challenges in forested ecosystems have wide-ranging effects on pollinators, natural enemies, and other ecosystem services. The goal of our symposium is to highlight novel approaches to managing both native and invasive forest insects that are responding to these global changes. These approaches include the creation use of state-of-the-art molecular techniques such as gene silencing as well as applying traditional technology in new ways.
Journals participating in Peerage of Science
Available before, during and after the peer review process. All Select destinations have concurrent access to all ongoing peer review processes, and the right to make direct publishing offers to you. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
Available only after the peer review process is complete. Submission to a Connect destination exports the process exclusively and cancels any existing offers from The Select destinations (the traditional "no simultaneous consideration" policy). However, you can cancel export later by exporting to another Connect destination, or by returning the process to full availability. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
You can create a link to the peer review process and give it to editors of any journal of your choice in a traditional submission. Using the link is a free service for both you and the receiving journal.
