Symposium: Leveraging genomics and biotechnology for integrated pest management to address challenges of global food security
call closes when slots are filled
As global population continues to increase and is expected to reach 9 billion by the year 2050, one of the most critical issues we are facing is to sustainably feed the growing population. With global climate change, the pressure exerted on agricultural systems by insect pests will only intensify. Currently, state of the art biotechnology and genomic tools that are widely used in biomedicine are still under-utilized in agricultural research and applications. This symposium aims to highlight emerging technologies and research that can be leveraged to modernize and inform IPM of arthropod pests.
Journals participating in Peerage of Science
Available before, during and after the peer review process. All Select destinations have concurrent access to all ongoing peer review processes, and the right to make direct publishing offers to you. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
Available only after the peer review process is complete. Submission to a Connect destination exports the process exclusively and cancels any existing offers from The Select destinations (the traditional "no simultaneous consideration" policy). However, you can cancel export later by exporting to another Connect destination, or by returning the process to full availability. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
You can create a link to the peer review process and give it to editors of any journal of your choice in a traditional submission. Using the link is a free service for both you and the receiving journal.
