The challenges of gathering information on alien insects are recognized. Recent developments in citizen science provide an opportunity to improve data flow and knowledge on alien insects while ensuring effective and high quality societal engagement with the issue. Advances in technology, e.g. on-line recording and smartphone apps, along with the development of social media, have revolutionized citizen science and increased connectivity, while new and innovative analysis techniques are emerging to ensure appropriate management, visualization, interpretation and use and sharing of the data.
Journals participating in Peerage of Science
Available before, during and after the peer review process. All Select destinations have concurrent access to all ongoing peer review processes, and the right to make direct publishing offers to you. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
Available only after the peer review process is complete. Submission to a Connect destination exports the process exclusively and cancels any existing offers from The Select destinations (the traditional "no simultaneous consideration" policy). However, you can cancel export later by exporting to another Connect destination, or by returning the process to full availability. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
You can create a link to the peer review process and give it to editors of any journal of your choice in a traditional submission. Using the link is a free service for both you and the receiving journal.
