Symposium: Mechanisms and evolution of sex determination and reproductive modes
call closes when slots are filled
Sex determination is a fundamental developmental process with important implications for the ecology and evolution. Sex determination mechanisms are intricately connected with reproductive mode, such as forms of sexual and parthenogenetic reproduction. There is a bewildering variety in sex determination and reproductive systems within insects, and novel forms are continually being discovered. Knowledge about the genetic basis of sex determination and reproduction is rapidly increasing, both from traditionally well-studied Diptera, Hymenoptera and Lepidoptera, but also from previously unexplore
Journals participating in Peerage of Science
Available before, during and after the peer review process. All Select destinations have concurrent access to all ongoing peer review processes, and the right to make direct publishing offers to you. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
Available only after the peer review process is complete. Submission to a Connect destination exports the process exclusively and cancels any existing offers from The Select destinations (the traditional "no simultaneous consideration" policy). However, you can cancel export later by exporting to another Connect destination, or by returning the process to full availability. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
You can create a link to the peer review process and give it to editors of any journal of your choice in a traditional submission. Using the link is a free service for both you and the receiving journal.
