Symposium: Monitoring freshwater biodiversity - taxonomy, systematics and biogeography of water beetles
call closes when slots are filled
By large, freshwater bodies are highly variable and make today often an endangered kind of biotope. At present we are anxious of climate change, which no doubt will severely struck small sized entities and their faunas. Moreover habitat-change/destruction is a global problem for freshwater faunas. Freshwater-biodiversity, especially in the tropics is still far from being well known. Worldvide scientists are working with the freshwater-living beetles, with an aim in common to establish firm species-lists. The present symposium is a gathering for these people.
Journals participating in Peerage of Science
Available before, during and after the peer review process. All Select destinations have concurrent access to all ongoing peer review processes, and the right to make direct publishing offers to you. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
Available only after the peer review process is complete. Submission to a Connect destination exports the process exclusively and cancels any existing offers from The Select destinations (the traditional "no simultaneous consideration" policy). However, you can cancel export later by exporting to another Connect destination, or by returning the process to full availability. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
You can create a link to the peer review process and give it to editors of any journal of your choice in a traditional submission. Using the link is a free service for both you and the receiving journal.
