Symposium: Biodiversity of the apterygote hexapods – a global assessment
call closes when slots are filled
This symposium aims at gathering the experts for apterygote taxonomy to summarize the current knowledge on the biodiversity of the hexapod taxa Collembola, Protura, Diplura, Microcoryphia, and Zygentoma. The talks provide global surveys and highlight recent insights for selected geographic regions. The symposium is fostered by the Specialized Information Service Biodiversity Research (BIOfid) that was recently launched to mobilize biodiversity data with modern information technologies. BIOfid now aims at a focus on edaphic arthropods to support current programs for soil ecosystem research.
Journals participating in Peerage of Science
Available before, during and after the peer review process. All Select destinations have concurrent access to all ongoing peer review processes, and the right to make direct publishing offers to you. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
Available only after the peer review process is complete. Submission to a Connect destination exports the process exclusively and cancels any existing offers from The Select destinations (the traditional "no simultaneous consideration" policy). However, you can cancel export later by exporting to another Connect destination, or by returning the process to full availability. Note that journals may require additional in-house peer review.
You can create a link to the peer review process and give it to editors of any journal of your choice in a traditional submission. Using the link is a free service for both you and the receiving journal.
